I wanted to give everyone an idea of some of the items I have gathered for the "Let it Snow" themed mini photo session this Saturday, so Anna (my sweet little neighbor) stopped by and took some photos with her and some of the holiday props. She is adorable!

I am having a Let it Snow themed mini photo shoot, including giant snowballs and other fun wintery things! It's November 19th from 9 AM - 5 PM (24 sessions). For $50 you get a 20 minute session and 5 edited images on a disc with print rights. This is a great opportunity to get a few new family shots for your Christmas Cards! Free mini-photo shoots for tornado victims

As many of you know on Tuesday, June 24th, Oklahoma was hit by tornado's that destroyed many communities and took lives. My heart is broken for those who lost their family and friends in this tragedy.

I asked many of my clients for ideas on how Tiffany Webb Photography could help those affected by the tornado's and we came up with a great idea...

Since many people have lost their family photos, I am going to have a day where I will take free mini-photo sessions for any person (signed up) that lost their photos in Tuesday's disaster. If you know of a family that fits into this category please email me their name and a way to contact them (it may be through you, depending on their circumstances) and we will get them on the list (twebbphoto@gmail.com)!

I'd like for this day to be a fun-filled day with snacks, drinks and photos so if anyone would like to help make this event special for those participating by making snacks, hanging out, playing games, anything let me know! Together we can help these families rebuild...

Marley is turning one!

Amazing wedding weekend

Last weekend my husband and I traveled to Weatherford, TX for Danna and Jarrott's wedding. If you ever are passing through make sure to stop off at Chandor Gardens- it is beautiful. I found myself dreaming of ways to make my backyard look like the gardens, of course I have no idea how to acomplish that. My husband was in the wedding and I photographed the day.

What a beautiful bride and an amazing couple! I am so glad these two found one another- they are a great match. Here are a few of Danna's bridal photos and some of the engagments... also a preview of the wedding shots. I will post a slideshow as soon as I get them complete- great day!

New Perspective

I know it has been a long time- so sorry! I tell you when life takes over- wow- time flies! I have had quite a few photo shoots since the last time I was able to post on my blog and I feel terrible. However I did get a bright idea the other day... why not help my followers out with some of my favorite tricks of the trade. That way when I am not around at your family functions or your child's first steps you can fill in the gaps with your own camera! My new goal is to mix some tips in with some of my work. I hope you enjoy trying some of these- they can really help make your shots interesting....

#1) Don't be afraid to get in close! Many people take a shot and the focus of it is diluted by the surroundings or the other people in the shot. If you zoom in and get a tight shot, the focus is all your audience will see and you will be much happier with the end result!

#2) Backgrounds do not need to be extravagant to make a shot! Sometimes the best shots are the ones with the most simple backgrounds. For example, concrete (above) adds to the shot rather than making it busy. Get creative, sometimes using a background nobody else would can really make your shots memorable.

#3) Use the sun, don't be afraid of it! So many people have learned through the years to shoot with the sun behind their backs. In some cases this can be the way to go, however in other moments when the sun is in the right spot it can really create a beautiful shot (above and below).
Bonus tip: Keep an eye on the shadows you create, sometimes they can be very interesting (like the family shot above)!

Well I am back, sort of, sorry for the long break! I have been working on a ton of different photo sessions but haven't had time to post any on the blog until now. I had the joy of photographing my cousin Emelia a few weeks ago and can't believe the beautiful young woman she has become! Really it seems like yesterday she was a little girl and now- wow she is all grown up. We had a blast, I hope you enjoy these photos...

Vacation

Well we did it, took one whole week of vacation, and wow I don't know why people don't do it more often. Oh wait we can't, but it was amazing! We really didn't do much of anything really except play on our boat on Lake Eufaula. Most of the activities included playing with the beagles who had their own life jackets and laying out in the sun- not to mention driving our boat. So much fun! I really feel refreshed and renewed. It is amazing how being outside is good for the soul.

Funny story: Heath and I decided to go fishing one evening, got liscensed and had fishing poles in hand. I was personally excited because I love to fish and haven't done it for years. Well we got out on the lake and the water was glass- simply beautiful- and we dropped anchor and lures and waited. Well the ironic thing was there were fish literally (no kidding) jumping all around us. With all of this activity we didn't get one fish! It was like they knew what we were up to and flaunted themselves in front of us! It was like something out of a movie, I actually started laughing. But the view was peaceful and amazing so no complaints.

The beagles loved the lake, I was so proud of them! Britten actually jumped in and wanted to swim- it was so cute. I know I am a bit ridiculous with the beagles, I admit it. haha....

Moral to the story: Vacations are awesome, everyone should take them even if they are only a couple of hours away! I reccomend them! Oh and the lake and new boat help!

Brock the Awesome!

A couple weeks ago I got to take photos of my cousin Brock, for some reason I still expected him to be a little boy and be goofy and crazy like I remember... Well he is all grown up! He looks more like a man than a boy and it made me a bit sad. He is however super handsome and getting to be so tall. Don't get me wrong he is still fun, just not goofy like I remember. We had the best time joking around and just spending time with one of my favorite families (half of them anyway) ever. Thank you for calling me when you guys were in town, I wish our visit had been longer. Hopefully next time! I love you guys and hope you enjoy the shots.

I took these pictures in the fall of well last year, but it sounds a lot longer than it really has been. The holidays kind of took a ton of my time and I wasn't able to get them up on my blog like I wanted. This little guy was so cute! I had so much fun with his family taking pictures of the group and of his beautiful blue eyes. Some of my favorites are of him 'reading', how cute is that! He looks like he has a bright future, maybe as a teacher?

It's a BIG TRUCK

So I did this photo shoot with a friend from work last month and yes I am just now getting it posted on my blog. It was so much fun! Her little girl is so cute! I absolutely love taking pictures of her because it is so much fun to see her personality come out in the shots. Anyway- the title, well we were taking pictures, attempting to get her to smile, and she kept spotting objects like a birdy and such. Well we were by the road and she saw a semi truck and said in a really low voice (as low as a 2-year-old can) "Look mommy its a BIG TRUCK"! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Well anyway, here they are...

Last week I had the privilege of taking bridal portraits of a good friend of mine. She is one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen! I was able to post these online because her future husband is not so much a computer guy- so we are safe. I am looking forward to their wedding- it is going to be beautiful at the historic post office in El Reno.

I enjoyed spending time with this family- the little one is adorable. Simply a delight- I especially like the pictures of him holding his bottle and standing on his own. The bottle break worked out great, because we were able to get a few shots of just Mom and Dad. All in all perfect weather, delightful family and a great time.

Disney World Trip

I just got back from a trip to the most magical place on Earth, Disney World! My husband, Heath, and I had a great time with the whole family. It was my third time to go and we still didn't run out of things to do. For a creative person, like myself, Disney is a great place to recharge and let my imagination wander.

I do however have this fear of taking my nice Canon through security (I am terrified that they will mess it up somehow), so all of these pictures were taken with a small digital. It did a fair job of documenting our trip.

I think my favorite park has got to be Epcot! I enjoyed walking through the countries, wishing that some day I would be able to take my camera on a world wide tour. Until then, here are a few of the country shots I was able to take...

This sweet family came for their photo shoot and unfortunately their son wasn't feeling very well. However, as the shoot progressed his fun loving little personality was able to shine through. What a trooper!

As we began talking during the his close ups, I found out he loves his Ipod and listening to hip hop music. Which he thought was really funny.
